January 21, 2010...Mommy took Jack & me to a basketball game. I liked sitting in the bleachers and watching the game and the cheerleaders (who were sitting right in front of us). We even got to get some chips from the concession stand at halftime. The players and cheerleaders were some of Mommy's former students.

I'm Sixteen Months Old!

January 17, 2010...I am now 16 months old today! Three words to describe me...happy, busy, and curious! I am into everything still. I have six teeth and a new one that just broke through near where my molars will be. I am still talking and babbling a lot. Here are some of the new things I'm saying/trying to say...Nana, TJ, Gigi, light, football, touchdown, banana, cars, stars, children, cup, all done, black beans, and Brown Bear, Brown Bear. Every morning when I see Jack I say, "Hi, Jack!" If I get up before him, I really want to go into his room and wake him up, but Mommy won't let me! My favorite foods are black and chili beans, smoothies, goldfish or any other cracker (which now when I want crackers, I go into the laundry room and point to the shelf and say "cracker"), and oranges. My current favorite books are Dear Zoo; Smile; Brown Bear, Brown Bear What do you See?; Time for Bed; and Goodnight Moon. I am pointing at things that I want and trying to tell you what I want. I'm obsessed with closing the dishwasher and doors. I like to bang the toilet lid against the back of the toilet, and I really like to follow Jack into the bathroom when he's going potty (which drives Jack crazy because I want to bang the lid while he's going potty). I am really into saying "TJ" (my cousin) and I love to walk around with his picture. I love looking at the pictures on the refrigerator and the ones in Jack's room in his airplane. I love being in Jack's bed and standing up or playing with his stuffed animals (which also drives him crazy). I am a climber. I like to climb on the baby gates and Jack's bed rail. One of my favorite things to do is to go into our bathroom, climb up on the stool, and brush my teeth and watch myself in the mirror. I really would like to get my toothbrush wet, but I can't get the water on by myself. Lately, I have been trying to open the front door with Mommy's keys. I do this at Grammy & Grandpa's house, too. I love going to Grammy & Grandpa's, going for walks in the stroller, playing outside, getting into everything, taking baths, going to Rhyme Time, playing with Jack, brushing my teeth, getting into the tupperware/plastic plates/cups drawer, making friends everywhere we go, seeing Daddy when he gets home, and reading books with Mommy.
