I'm Twenty-Four Months/Two Years Old!!!

September 17, 2010...I'm now officially two years old. I am a real chatterbox, talking nonstop. I say things like "I saw a garbage truck yesterday" and "Look at this, Mommy" and "Cover me up, Mommy" and "Jack's at preschool" and "I wanna go outside and ride my bike, Daddy." I always include the person that I'm speaking to in my sentences. I can tell Mommy & Daddy just about anything now. I can also spell my name "R-E-E-S-E"! I've been very excited about turning two. I have interest in the potty ("I wanna go pee pee in the potty"), but I just sit on it for a second, run around, and then get back on it. Mommy is in no hurry to start the training until I'm ready. I still love to be read to. Some of my favorite books this month are Blue's Clues books (which I can locate on my own in the library); Clifford books; Thomas books; Dig, Dig, Digging; This is not a Pumpkin; Michigan Wolverines 1-2-3; and my Animal Baby magazines (a new fave). I still have to have books in my crib at all times. I stay up in my bed after Mommy/Daddy puts me down and look at my books for a while. My favorite songs are "My Energy" and "The Victors". Sometimes I like to watch "The Backyardigans" with Jack in the morning. I'm still a picky eater...love granola bars, my vitamin, snacks, and bananas. I'm happy, silly, chatty, active, loving, cuddly, and I can really drive Jack crazy sometimes. I love going to Grammy & Grandpa's house; riding my tricycle (with help); playing baseball, soccer, and football with Daddy & Jack; my paci (even though it's mostly in my crib during the day) and my blanket; singing songs; taking baths; making a mess when I eat; being outside; going to the Y and seeing my friends; playing with Jack; reading books; being held; pulling out all of my Blue's Clues diapers and carrying a few around with me; playing with trains and Little People; spending my mornings with Mommy; and doing things independently. I'm still a real cutie! Here are my lion pics...
