I'm Twenty-Eight Months Old!!!

January 17, 2011...I am now 28 months old and so full of life! I say funny things all of the time. I make Mommy & Daddy & Jack laugh a lot! I say, "You know....", "Actually...", and "RIGHT NOW!!!" all the time. If someone asks me if I like something, I ask them the same thing. For example, if Mommy says, "Reesey, do you like to be cozy?" then I say, "Mommy, you like to be cozy??" It's pretty cute. I still talk all day long. I ask a lot of questions. Now, I ask Jack if I need to know something or need help with something. I am communicating very well, and I'm even starting to be a little demanding..."I want my granola bar RIGHT NOW!" ("Now" sounds like "ne-yow"...maybe I'm a little southern). I have a new favorite show...well, it's actually a movie. I LOVE "Misty Island Rescue." It is a Thomas movie that Auntie Lish gave Jack & me for Christmas. I can't get enough of it, and now I have lots of it memorized. It's really cute when I say, "Dash, Bash, and Ferdinand." I want to watch this movie every day!!! I also like to watch any other Thomas shows. I love to be read to, and some of my new favorite books are Too Pickley; The Garden of Abdul Gazasi; May the Best Engine Win; and all of my Corduroy books. Mommy started reading to Jack & me together at night. We each get to choose a book for Mommy to read to us, and Mommy gets to choose a few, too. I'm really enjoying this. I'm still a super picky eater...right now, I'm living on yogurt, hummus & pretzels, applesauce, toast, smoothies, and snacks. I love JACK; being read to; going to Grammy & Grandpa's house; playing hide-n-seek with Daddy, Mommy, & Jack; playing with my Thomas trains with Jack; being held and snuggled; my blankie & my paci (which I've been trying to keep in my crib, but it's hard!); playing soccer outside; seeing my friends at the Y; running into the bathroom when Jack is going, opening the toilet for him, flushing after he's done, and then slamming it shut; helping cook; washing my hands; taking baths; seeing Daddy after work; guessing the Thomas puzzle at the end of each episode; and having fun!!!
