I'm Two & a Half!!!

March 17, 2011...I am now two and a half years old! I'm just so funny all of the time. Even when I'm up to no good, I'm still so funny. I'm usually a very happy little boy & very interested in whatever my brother is doing. When I wake up in the morning, I'm already looking for Jack. I love my big brother so much! I'm still a major chatterbox, and I like to know everything we are doing...where we are going...what we are going to do there, etc. One of the funniest things I'm constantly doing is suggesting things and then saying "Is that a good idea?" For example, "Maybe we should get bunkbeds like Charlie & William. Is that a good idea, Mommy?" I also ask to watch "Mowgli" a lot ("The Jungle Book"). My vocabulary is pretty amazing right now...probably because Jack talks a lot and I love to read books and get so much from them. My favorites right now are any Curious George book, especially Curious George at the Aquarium; Ting & Ling Not Exactly the Same; Thomas books; Biscuit books; and anything else Mommy reads to me. I've moved from my baby board books to loving everything that Jack is into. Mommy still reads to us together at bedtime now, and I'm enjoying all kinds of new books. I ask for them by title now, too, and I can memorize them just like Jack after a few readings. I love to listen to our Curious George books on CD that we were listening to in the car when we were driving back and forth to Duke to see Grandpa. Now that Grandpa is home, Jack & I still listen to them...in his room instead of in the car. My favorite shows/movies are "The Jungle Book" and "The Jungle Book 2" (and I have memorized some of the songs) and "Thomas." I'm starting to get into "The Backyardigans." I still love to eat hummus & pretzels, raisins, smoothies, toast, and snacks. I'm pretty teeny tiny still (wearing size 18-24 month clothing). I love seeing Grammy & Grandpa; my family; going to Sunday school and doing a project there; seeing Daddy after work; trying to play Wii with Jack & Daddy; playing outside; "riding" my tricycle; picking out my shoes & socks every morning; being independent; being held & snuggled; my blankie & my pacis (which I try to only have at naptime & bedtime); going to the library to pick out books; playing at the Y; playing Thomas; reading books with Mommy; eating snacks; helping; watching Jack go potty (but I'm still not going myself); talking; seeing friends; "The Jungle Book"; watching movies/"Mater's Tall Tales" on Daddy's computer; and being silly. I don't like taking a bath, and I'm terrified of dogs! I'm a bundle of joy...too precious for words.
