February 17, 2011...I am now 29 months old...just about 2 1/2 years old. Still a little peanut, big conversationalist, and full of life! I love doing what my big brother, Jack, is doing, and I'm starting to NOT destroy everything he creates. I try to play with him and beside him more now. Don't get me wrong, I can still drive him totally crazy just because I'm the little brother. I love Jack so much and want to be just like him. My favorite books right now are
Train Song; Thomas & the Castle; Olivia Trains her Cat; Calling All Engines; and
Corduroy. I will listen to any story Mommy picks out to read to me, and I remember things she tells me on each page. I have a good memory "just like Jack".
My favorite show is still "Thomas & Friends" but I have a new favorite movie..."Finding Nemo". I watched it recently with Jack, and I love it!!! I also love to watch "Mater's Tall Tales" on Daddy's "pooter" (computer). Some funny things I am saying are "I might...", "I should...", "It must be...", ridiculous, "I'm gonna do something crazy", and pretty much everything else I say is funny. I call Daddy "my Dada." I like to sing, squeal, and make funny sounds. That really cracks me up. When I am really excited, I start running and make a really loud squeally sound. This is not appreciated in some of the places I frequent...the library, the YMCA, and Duke hospital. Once people see where the squealing is coming from, I usually am forgiven (though I'm not sure Mommy is). I'm still a picky eater, but I love smoothies, veggie sticks, yogurt/plain raisins, yogurt, applesauce, toast, meatballs, rice, any kind of snack, and a new favorite...CEREAL!!! I love seeing my Grammy & Grandpa (who have been at Duke hospital for 3 weeks...I really miss them); going to the library to pick out books (and as soon as we get there, I immediately run to the Thomas books); playing outside; going to the park; playing with friends at the YMCA; going to Jack's basketball games; seeing Daddy after work; reading books with Mommy; my pacis & blanket; my I-Screamer truck; running/being fast; trying to be independent; doing things with Jack; and being held & snuggled.
Mommy forgot to take my lion pictures, but she got this one of me today snoozing after a very busy day! I am sleeping on top of so many books, but Mommy didn't want to wake me by moving them.
