Pumpkin Patch...

October 19, 2009...Mommy took Jack & me to the pumpkin patch today. It was awesome! We got to see lots of farm animals. We went on a hay ride and a train ride. We went down a huge slide. We picked out pumpkins, and we just had so much fun.

I really liked watching Jack feed the ducks. The ducks were

swimming and splashing all around.

October 18, 2009...Mommy took some pictures of us at the beautiful Sanctuary hotel. We stopped by to check it out before our long drive home.

I'm Thirteen Months Old!!!

October 17, 2009...I turned 13 months old today. We are in Kiawah Island, SC, and today is my cousin Kathryn's wedding. So, I don't have my usual lion pictures. Even better...I got to have my picture taken with a beautiful bride. I am still a pretty happy little boy who loves to do whatever my big brother Jack is doing. I have started walking, and I'm really getting around now. I feel like such a big boy. I have four teeth now. I am trying to talk more and more and am saying "mama, dada, Jack, more, baby, high five ("high pie") and cracker". I'm a picky eater, just like Mommy. If she puts an unknown object on my tray for me to eat, I most likely throw it on the floor. Sometimes, I try it, and then I throw it on the floor. If I've had enough of whatever I'm eating, I throw it on the floor, too. I still prefer pureed baby food (green beans, apple blueberry, sweet potatoes, squash, pears, prunes, and apricots), but I also like to eat crackers, bread, sometimes pork & chicken, oatmeal, smoothies, and black beans. I like to drink water and smoothies, and I really like to go after Jack's cups and drink whatever he's drinking! I am really enjoying reading books with Mommy. I love books with flaps, pictures of babies, and books that make sounds. My current favorites are a Thomas book that plays songs that Auntie Jo Jo gave me for my birthday; Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you See?; Where is Baby's Pumpkin?; Toes, Ears, & Nose; My Puppy Friends; Peek-a-boo Jungle; Colors; and This is the Way We Take a Bath. I love my blankie; seeing Grandpa; being around Jack and trying to do what he's doing; playing golf; taking baths & splashing; being read to; being sung to; going to Rhyme Time; giving high fives; drinking smoothies; going on walks with Daddy; going to the park and swinging; getting into Mommy's purse and pulling everything out of it; exploring/discovering everything around the house; and being with my family. I don't like having my face washed, getting my diaper changed, and getting new teeth. I am a constant source of joy for my mommy, daddy, and Jack...as well as a constant source of entertainment, too.

Kiawah Island, SC...

GOctober 16, 2009...Daddy, Mommy, Jack, & I drove down to Kiawah Island, SC, yesterday. We are here for a wedding. Dadddy's cousin, Kathryn, is getting married to Richard tomorrow. I got to see lots of our family...Gigi, Nana, Aunt Lori & Uncle Rob, Kathryn, Lindsey, Uncle Dan, Uncle Michael & Auntie Lish, and my cousins, TJ & Michael. I have been feeling bad because of my new tooth, but I had fun seeing everyone.

Another New Tooth...

October 16, 2009...I had another new tooth break through today. No wonder I've been so miserable. This time it is my upper left lateral incisor. OUCH!!!
