I'm Seventeen Months Old!

February 17, 2010...I am now seventeen months old. I am just as happy as can be, and I'm such a cutie, too. I never stop moving...all day long I'm on the go. I just get into everything and walk all over the place. Maybe that's why I'm still pretty small...only around 21 pounds or so, but Mommy & Daddy think I'm just perfect! Some of my new words are "doggy, touchdown, socks, shoes, giggle, Pablo (from the Backyardigans), kitty cat, Matt (as in Uncle Matt) and banana." I can make lots of animal sounds...lion (my favorite), cow, monkey, duck, turkey, and dog. I am wanting to talk more and more. I still have 6 teeth, but I have two molars coming in now! I still love to eat oranges, black beans, shredded pork, applesauce, and of course, CRACKERS!!! I love to read books when I wake up, before naps, and before bedtime. Some of my current favorites are My Puppy Friends (and I like to point to the puppies and try to count them); Feely Bugs; Smile; Colors; Dear Zoo; That's Not My Dog; Clifford's Bedtime; Dog; and Curious George board books. I love music, and I like to dance when I hear songs that I recognize. My favorite songs are "A, You're Adorable" and "Wheels on the Bus." I can do the motions for the wipers (swish, swish, swish), the horn (beep, beep, beep) and the signals (blink, blink, blink). I love to be held and look at pictures of our family and friends on the refrigerator. My favorites are pictures of TJ, Grandpa, and Jack. Mommy put a few pictures in my room for me to look at, too. I don't like to be told "No" and I will start crying if you tell me "No." It makes me sad and mad. Some of my favorite things to do are going to Grammy & Grandpa's house, swinging in the swings at the park, going for walks, going to Rhyme Time, seeing my friends/staff at the YMCA while Mommy exercises, playing with Jack, snuggling, seeing Daddy after work, going for walks with Daddy in the Baby Bjorn (yes, I can still fit in there), reading books with Mommy, making messes, knocking things over, brushing my teeth, taking bath, and trying to do anything that Jack is doing. I'm a real character! Here are some pictures of me from today... Jack's old Mudcats hat fits me...
I didn't really want to be still for my lion pictures...
