I'm Twenty-Three Months Old!!!

August 17, 2010...I turned 23 months old today...just one month shy of being TWO years old! It's hard to believe! I'm so much fun at this age...and I love to talk! I say funny things like "Ouch!" and "It's hot, Mommy. Turn the air on" (when we get into our car), and "I wanna take a bath", and "Stinky diaper!" When Mommy tells me she loves me, I say, "I love Jack! I love Daddy!" I can pretty much get across what I want and when I want it (now). I like to copy things you say, and I have a very cute little voice. I am constantly saying "Carolina" because that is the name of my new penguin from Carolina Beach. I'm starting to like stuffed animals more and more, thanks to Jack. My favorites are Carolina, my baby doll-Baby Ava, and my Donald from Disney World. I love to sing, and I can sing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star", "The Victors" (the Michigan fight song), "Old MacDonald", "Go Cubs Go", "We are the Dinosaurs", "Rock My Baby", "Bulldozer", "My Energy", my ABCs, and some other songs we listen to in the car. I love to be read to, and my current favorite books are Thomas the Tank Engine Books; Best Pest Control (a Backyardigans book); Baby Words; Michigan Wolverines 123 (which I have basically memorized...and can say words like "champions, instruments, cheerleaders, mascot, thunderous stadiums, equipment"); and my Huckle book. Now, when I go down for my nap or bedtime, Mommy & Daddy have to leave books in or beside my crib so I can read them when I wake up or before I go to sleep. I will sit in my crib for a while just reading my books. I like to have my nightlight on at night so I can see them in the dark. I still LOVE my blanket and my "paciboo". What else do I love? I love my family (especially JACK); going to Grammy & Grandpa's house; taking baths; playing baseball with Jack; going to the library and picking out my books; eating snacks; being outside; going to the YMCA; going on vacation; being held and snuggled; climbing up the stairs; seeing Daddy after work; doing things all by myself; listening to music and singing; playing with Thomas & Percy (I've gotten into trains lately); and having fun!

Not my best lion pictures...I wasn't really in the mood!
Help! Someone rescue me from the crazy lady with the camera!
Almost...
I'm done!
